I think that she needs to come clean with what happened at the party. She can't be silent for the rest of High School, I mean I want to what happened at the party.
I think that eventually she she won't be able to hold it in any longer and that she will eventually tell. Most people can't hold a dark secret for ever. So I thinks she'll spill her secret.
I think she will remain silent about the what to her. She wont really talk to anyone not even her own parents. I think if she still had her friends she would talk to them.
i think sooner or later she's just going to explode, being so bottled up of fear and explaining what happened. that I think she's going to tell Heather or eventually someone that she thinks she can trust.
I think by the end of the book she will tell what happened at the party. I think she should just say it now and get it over what happened at the party.

I think one day she will finally feel comfortable to tell someone about what happened. I don't think she will be able to keep that secret ALL of high school because people are being mean to her because they think she did something bad. She didn't do anything wrong so I think one day she will get fed up with people getting mad at her and just finally tell them.
I agree with Nick W. because if she tells everybody in the school, then they will all know her dark secret. If she only tells one person, it can either be bad or good, because that one person may tell everyone or him/her will keep that seccret safe with them. its a tricky situation but in the end i thing she will make the right decition by telling someone that she can really trust!
I don't think Melinda can keep what happened at the party bottled up. Eventually, it has to come out somehow and I think everyone would be more considerate and understanding to her if they knew.

Melinda is scared about what happened on the eve of the party. Whatever happened that night scared so badly that she won't talk about.
